Ben, a proud native of the Pacific Northwest, was born in Washington and raised in Oregon. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Oregon and has been a licensed CPA in Oregon since 2008.
With nine years of combined Big 4 experience at Ernst & Young and Deloitte, Ben specializes in business tax, focusing on corporate and flow-through entities. He has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 500 multinational corporations to small startups, spanning industries such as commercial and residential real estate, manufacturing, private equity and hedge funds, biotech, and high-tech. His expertise also extends to serving clients in the cannabis industry, where he leverages his diverse skill set to provide valuable insights.
Outside of work, Ben is an avid traveler, having visited over 35 countries. He enjoys craft beer, coffee, snowboarding, music festivals, camping, and hiking.
